I offer a compassionate space where you can explore and navigate through your emotional challenges and mental health journey.   I work with clients with varying experiences such as; depression, low mood, anxiety, grief, loss, isolation, stress, difficult emotions.  I have a particular interest in the area of disenfranchised grief, and holding space for those clients who's loss is not so obvious to others. This can be very painful as I believe grief must be shared to enable healing. I will listen with empathy, understanding and compassion. I value this work immensely, having experienced the benefits of therapy myself over the years. I believe therapy can help you to return to the real you. Therapy reconnects us with our own values and aspirations, helps us to find our voice, and heal by sharing our pain with another.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a nurturing and personalised approach to tackle personal challenges and emotional distress.I work with clients to really listen to their story to help them to understand themselves better. I adopt a client led approach, as I believe you are the expert in your life. I hope to facilitate growth and healing for my clients by helping them to share their inner thoughts and feelings in a safe compassionate space with no judgement.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a typical therapy session?

A typical therapy session lasts about 50 minutes, providing enough time to explore and address your concerns. Often clients like to start with an initial 6 week period and review after that time. We identify struggles and goals together in the first session.

How can therapy help me?

Therapy can help by providing a safe space for self-exploration, enhancing personal growth, and offering coping strategies for various challenges.Clients are often surprised at how much relief they feel even after one or two sessions of sharing in a safe, non-judgemental space.

How much do sessions cost?

Ususally the cost is 70 euro per session. I do have some availability for low-cost cients who cannot afford this fee due to unemployment or being in full-time study, so please feel free to contact me about this option.

What types of payment options are there?

Clients can pay either by cash, online bank transfer or Revolut.

Where do you see clients?

I see clients in two locations in Dublin 3 and Dublin 9. I also offer online sessions for clients who prefer this mode of therapy.
